Small Helping Hands Do Big Things
A Helping Hand for Homeless People
At Design 4 Change, there's always a helping hand for homeless people in Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA, including veterans and children. We provide them with sleeping bags and tents.
Sometimes, we also help our friends in need by getting a motel or hotel room to shelter them for a couple of nights, especially those with children. We also give out shower cards to everyone who needs them.

Other Assistance Offered
There are a lot of programs that could be helpful as homeless veterans rebuild their lives. However, only a few are aware of these programs. So, Design 4 Change helps them by offering community resource referrals, including for housing. Visit our Referrals page to learn more.
Additionally, we do weekly checks, helping our friends get necessary IDs and bus passes for transportation. Our team also offers men’s and women’s meetings to help them socialize and make new friends.
Help Is Available
Design 4 Change has over 18 years of experience in the field. We want to continue touching lives by helping homeless individuals and veterans get back on their feet again. We also help our friends' children who are in need. We provide them with school supplies so they can attend school.
